Coffee & Conversation: Public Policy, Advocacy, Health, and Safety

Phillis Wheatley Branch

Join YWCA for a discussion about the intersection of our public policy and advocacy work and our Health & Safety program pillar.

On Friday, February 14 at 10:00AM at our Phillis Wheatley Branch, we're diving into a conversation about the intersection of YWCA’s public policy and advocacy work and our Health & Safety program pillar. We’ll discuss YWCA’s 2025 legislative priorities with a focus on Health & Safety for women and BIPOC communities, as well as YWCA’s programs such as our gender-based violence support services, health care navigation, and more. Together we’ll unpack the complexities, benefits, and collective impact we can make when we support women and families every day and fight for long-term solutions.

At YWCA, we are dedicated to improving the well-being and advancing the rights of women, families, and underserved communities. We believe in the power of the collective, social movements, and community organizing to enact change and consider the law to be a tool in that work.
